Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Georgia is the biggest of the five insurers participating in Georgia's federally-run health insurance marketplace, called an exchange. It's a key part of the Affordable Care Act, often called Obamacare.

Consumers visit a website, where they can compare and purchase healthcare insurance plans, and find out if they're eligible for subsidies.

Morgan Kendrick is the president of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Georgia.  Just a few days into the rollout of the exchange, he talked about the premiums consumers could expect to pay--and how they are set--in part 2 of a conversation with WABE's Denis O'Hayer.
