Youth Entrepreneurs Georgia, which works with area school districts, is hosting one of their biggest events Tuesday at the Fox Theatre. It’s called “Dreams to Dividends.” It’s a reception and dinner for groupmembers and an awards ceremony, too.

The event is expected to bring together hundreds of civic, philanthropic and business leaders from Atlanta to celebrate the successes of young entrepreneurs.

Youth Entrepreneurs Georgia was formed in 2006. It has three main goals: to provide practical business knowledge and exposure, encourage a mindset focused on an economic way of thinking, and promote higher education.

JaKathryn Ross is the executive director of the group and Akinbola Richards is a young entrepreneur. Both discussed Youth Entrepreneurs Georgia on “A Closer Look.”
