- 19:57: Residents of the Park Villa Apartments in Brookhaven were told earlier this summer that they had 30 days to vacate, after the property was purchased by a new developer. The city’s Mayor John Ernst negotiated an extension of the residents leases through August. Rebekah Morris, executive director of Los Vecinos de Buford Highway, a local organization that advocates for affordable housing along Buford Highway, give us an update about the residents of the Park Villa Apartments.
