Brookhaven city officials are looking for input on what the Ashford-Dunwoody corridor should look like in the future.
The goal is to improve traffic flow and increase safety on Ashford-Dunwoody Road, starting at Interstate 285 and running through the northern part of the city.
"It is a major traffic thoroughfare and is subject to some congestion, particularly in peak traffic times, and we want to make sure that we plan for it in the future," said Brookhaven spokesman Burke Brennan.
Next Tuesday, Brookhaven planning officials will present the draft of its plan to its City Council and hold two presentations for the public.
“We’ve received a lot of valuable feedback as it pertains to this particular corridor, and we hope that continues in the future because it makes the study that much more effective,” Brennan said.
You can see the most recent draft of the plan on Brookhaven's website.
It's part of a larger, 20-year plan underway for overall city growth.
