Atlanta was dressed in green on Saturday for the city's 135th St. Patrick's Day parade.
Parade watchers filled Peachtree Street in Midtown as the parade moved south on the city's iconic street from 15th to 5th Streets.
Congressman John Lewis of Georgia's 5th Congressional District led the parade as Grand Marshal.
This year's event marked the city's 135th St. Patrick's Day parade, making this one of the city's longest-running events. It was started by the city's Hibernian Benevolent Society, a Catholic and Protestant fraternal organization.
